Resin Manchester Bee Wall Art

This Mounted Resin Manchester Bee is literally the Bees Knees.
 
The Manchester Bee is a significant piece of Manchester Art and means so much to so many for various reasons. As we all know the Manchester Bee is loved by many.
Bees today are treasured and protected by many and are a huge part of the worlds Eco System. 
 
The Bee, in your choice of colour, is hand made from Pure Resin from a mould created by Artisan Crafts. A thick MDF board is sanded, sealed several times and prepared for its first clear coat of resin to seal it further. Once cured coloured resin of your choice is coated on the board and the Bee is set in to the resin and cured. The Bee is then infilled with your choice of colours. From here there are layers of resin added (at least 3) until we are happy with the finish. Inbeween these layers the whole piece is sanded to within an inch of its life....literally!
 
This item can be customised with your colours of choice. We have made Pride Bees that are mulitcoloured, metallic ones, glittered ones, gold and silver ones .... ones filled with beads and coated clear, the options are endless.
 
These Manchester Bees are a stunning piece of art and the beauty is that you decide how you would like your Bee to look. The Bee and its wing colours, as well as the board colour you can choose to suit your own home / office decor.
